So I can't open my old final cut files on my new computer so I lost what I had of part 2 and all the other edits I've made, ever. I'm too lazy to learn how to salvage them and I'm actually glad to start fresh. I'm slowly putting part 2 together but I know I won't be done for another couple weeks with it being the final two weeks of school for me. So, I threw an edit together of some park footage I shot back in January.

back in da day
My computer is toast. I anticipated a meltdown after I got my computer back last week and as a precaution, I uploaded this video early so I'd have an update for this week. It's the first half of a video I started editing last December, right before I started getting computer problems. F technology.
It's my video that never came to be aka the 180 video aka moke life volume 1. After persistent procrastination, I finally have an incomplete montage almost six years in the making... All this footage was shot between the day when I first bought my vx2100 sometime back in 2005 up until January 2009. It took the rest of the time to actually decided to make something with it...
Part 2 will be up after Apple sends me a replacement.

spring break
Kaloe and I flew out to Oahu a couple weeks ago to skate and check out the In4mation contest at Hickam. To our dismay, I contracted the Norwalk virus a couple hours before my flight, then I gave it to Kaloe after we touched ground. Luckily the virus only hung around until Sunday... So all-in-all, the weekend was full of shit, but we did manage to skate a little and witness some amazing skateboarding.

Miles did so much tricks first try, I mistimed almost everyone of them. This 360 flip almost escaped me.

I was surprised to see Nathan was the only one to hit this side of the hubba. Wallie-5050.

The contest forgot about Kaloe, but Miles earned a spot in the finals. I wonder what Tim is pondering?

Probably first try as well. Miles killed it.

Miles claiming his 5th place shwag. It was a fun contest to watch. To hell with individual runs.

After the contest, we went to Waikiki and enjoyed the sunset with the homeless.

Until next time O'ahu.

haawaiian
Kaloe is on a mission to get to Australia, but he's stuck on this beautiful rock indefinitely. In between planning his escape and getting artsy, I've been documenting him maneuver his skateboard around our home.
I actually had this edit ready about a month ago, but my computer was getting looked at, not fixed, just looked at. Problems are still persisting so the next update will be a surprise to me as well. Better late than never I guess.
